This article will explain how to use the Customer Locate Feature
Customer locate is a great tool to help find a customer that may be lost or unaware of their breakdown location.
A new target icon will appear next to the contact and owner's phone number. You can use either number to find the customer. Enter the customer's cell phone number and press the icon. You will get a warning message that you're about to locate the customer and a text message will be sent.
The customer will receive a text message with a link. Once they press the link the phone will automatically ping their location. After their location is found, they will also receive a confirmation message.
Dispatch Anywhere will have a confirmation icon on the job edit screen. This indicates the address on the call was from the customer, not typed in manually.
